Child Safety Standards (CSAE/CSAM)
LocalSky is a client app for the Bluesky / AT Protocol network. Content you view and post is hosted by Bluesky and/or your Personal Data Server (PDS). LocalSky does not run its own social network.
Our standards
LocalSky explicitly prohibits Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). We do not allow using the app to create, upload, share, request, or distribute CSAE/CSAM, child grooming content, or any content that sexualizes minors.
How to report
In the LocalSky app, use Report on the relevant post/profile/message.
Select the child safety option (CSAE/CSAM) when available and add context in the report text (for example: “CSAE/CSAM report”).
You can also contact us directly at support@localsky.app
.
What happens after a report
In-app actions: LocalSky provides client-side tools like mute, block, and hiding/filtering content within the LocalSky app experience.
Network actions: When you report content in LocalSky, the app submits the report to Bluesky / AT Protocol moderation services when available. Any network-level enforcement (removals or account actions) is handled by Bluesky and/or your PDS provider. LocalSky cannot delete content from Bluesky or ban Bluesky accounts.
Legal reporting
If we obtain actual knowledge of CSAM, we will follow applicable laws and reporting obligations (including reporting to the appropriate authorities, such as NCMEC in the United States, when required).
